Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 5, 2026

Welcome to Keystone Heritage Works.

By accessing or using this website, placing an order, or requesting a custom project, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.

Our goal is simple: provide quality craftsmanship, communicate honestly, and treat every customer fairly. These Terms help establish clear expectations for both of us.

About Keystone Heritage Works

Keystone Heritage Works designs and manufactures decorative, architectural, ceremonial, and custom ornamental products using modern manufacturing techniques inspired by traditional craftsmanship.

Our products may include standard catalog items as well as custom-designed pieces created specifically for individual customers.

Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe and photograph our products.

Because many of our products are handcrafted, made-to-order, or produced in small batches:

  • Minor variations in color, finish, texture, or appearance may occur.
  • Screen colors may differ slightly from the finished product.
  • Dimensions are approximate unless otherwise specified.

These variations are considered part of the character of individually produced items.

Custom Projects

Custom work begins with collaboration.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including photographs, measurements, sketches, or other reference materials whenever possible.

We may request additional information before beginning work.

Customer Approval

For custom projects, we may provide:

  • Concept drawings
  • CAD renderings
  • Digital proofs
  • Prototype photographs

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving these materials before production begins.

Once final approval has been received, additional design changes may require additional charges or production time.

Pricing

Product prices are listed in U.S. Dollars.

Prices may change without notice.

A quoted price remains valid only for the period specified in the quotation.

Custom quotations are prepared individually and are not guaranteed beyond their stated validity period.

Payment

Payment is required before standard products are shipped.

For custom projects, payment terms will be described in the quotation or proposal.

Depending on project size, we may require:

  • Full payment before production
  • A deposit before work begins
  • Final payment before shipment

Production Times

Estimated production and shipping times are estimates only.

Actual completion times may vary depending upon:

  • Project complexity
  • Material availability
  • Production workload
  • Customer review and approval time
  • Shipping carrier performance

We will always make reasonable efforts to meet estimated schedules but cannot guarantee specific delivery dates.

Shipping

Orders are carefully packaged before shipment.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are controlled by the carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.

Additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect addresses or returned shipments may be the customer’s responsibility.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any applicable:

  • Customs duties
  • Import taxes
  • VAT
  • Brokerage fees
  • Local regulations

These charges are not included unless specifically stated.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Please inspect your shipment promptly after it arrives.

If an item is damaged during shipping, please contact us as soon as possible and include photographs of:

  • The packaging
  • The shipping label
  • The damaged item

This allows us to work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue quickly.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase.

Standard products may be eligible for return in accordance with our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Because custom projects are created specifically for an individual customer, custom items are generally not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or differ materially from the approved design.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Customer-Supplied Materials

Customers retain ownership of photographs, drawings, sketches, and other materials they provide.

By submitting these materials, you confirm that you have the right to use them and authorize Keystone Heritage Works to use them solely for the purpose of evaluating, designing, manufacturing, and supporting your project.

You represent that your submitted materials do not knowingly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keystone Heritage Works shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or our products.

Our total liability relating to any purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product or project giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Product Use

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, our products are decorative in nature and should not be relied upon for structural, safety-critical, or load-bearing purposes.

Customers are responsible for proper installation and maintenance.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located within the Commonwealth of Virginia, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

Any revisions will become effective when posted on this page with an updated Effective Date.

Your continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
